Contact UK Business Credit Cards

By Chris

Email hello@ukbusinesscreditcards.co.uk for corrections, questions, or to tell us a card's terms have changed. We are not Capital on Tap, so account and application queries need to go to them.

Email us

The address for everything is hello@ukbusinesscreditcards.co.uk. It reaches Chris directly; there is no ticketing system, no support team and no auto-responder. Plain text is fine. If you are reporting an error, include the page address and, if you can, a link to the source that shows the correct figure. That lets us verify and fix it in one pass.

What to contact us about

  • Corrections. A fee, rate, date or eligibility rule that is wrong or out of date. The editorial policy explains how we handle corrections and when we note them on the page.
  • A change in a card’s terms. If Capital on Tap or one of the cards in our comparisons changes a fee, a reward rate or an eligibility rule and we have not caught it yet, tell us. Reader reports are often the first we hear of a change.
  • Questions about the guides. If something on a page is unclear, or a question you had is not answered in the FAQs, ask. If the answer is useful to others it usually ends up on the relevant page.
  • Broken links or bugs. Especially in the calculators.
  • Privacy requests. Access, erasure or any question about the small amount of data the site handles. The privacy policy sets out what that is.

What we cannot do

This site is independent of Capital on Tap and of every other issuer it writes about. We have no access to any customer system. In practical terms that means:

  • We cannot see your application, its status or the reason for a decision.
  • We cannot see your account, statement, credit limit or points balance, and cannot change any of them.
  • We cannot pay, chase or check the status of a referral bonus. Capital on Tap pays it, on its own timetable, under its own rules. If yours has not arrived after a first transaction and one month, the people to ask are Capital on Tap.
  • We cannot give financial advice or tell you whether a particular card is right for your business.

Contacting Capital on Tap

For anything about an application, an account or a bonus, go to the issuer directly. Its published contact details are:

Phone020 8962 7401
Emailcontact@capitalontap.com
Legal nameNew Wave Capital Limited (trading as Capital on Tap)
Complaint final responsefinal response within 15 business days (35 in exceptional cases)

Capital on Tap describes its support as 24/7 UK-based phone support. If you have a complaint, its procedure gives it final response within 15 business days (35 in exceptional cases), after which complaints can go to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The is Capital on Tap legit page walks through the complaints route and the company’s regulatory status.

If you are not yet a customer and want to know whether you qualify, the eligibility page and the eligibility checker cover the published criteria. The application guide covers where the promo code goes and what to have ready.

Response times

One person reads this inbox alongside running a business, so expect a reply within a few working days rather than a few hours. Corrections get priority: if you report a wrong figure with a source, we aim to check it and fix the page within a few days, and we will tell you when it is done. General questions may take a little longer. If you have not heard back within a week, it is more likely to be a spam filter than indifference; feel free to send it again.

Why there is no contact form

A form would mean storing what you write on a server, adding spam protection that usually involves a third-party script, and holding your message somewhere other than an inbox. Email avoids all of that: your message goes to us, sits in one mailbox, and is deleted when it is dealt with. It also means you keep a copy. The privacy policy describes what happens to the emails we receive.

We are not on social media in any official capacity, and we do not take press enquiries, guest posts, link exchanges or sponsorship of any kind. The how we make money page explains why.
